Applications
Balers serve any operation whose waste stream costs more to move than to process.
- Retail and Distribution: compacts inbound carton and stretch wrap at receiving docks and back-of-house areas.
- Material Recovery Facilities: densifies sorted fiber, film, and container fractions coming off the sorting line.
- Manufacturing and Converting: bales production offcuts, trim, and packaging waste at the point they arise.
- Textile and Apparel: compresses used clothing, wool, and fabric waste into export-ready bales.
- Scrap Metal and Non-Ferrous: handles thin sheet, aluminum profile, and copper wire for sale by weight.
- Tire and Rubber Recycling: reduces the storage footprint of casings ahead of processing or resale.
- Marine and Offshore: compacts galley and accommodation waste where storage space is fixed.
Baler Range
The lineup spans thirteen configurations. Press force matters less than the material each machine is built for.
| Model | Press Force | Material and Fit |
| ToronBale™ Dual | 3 tons | Twin chambers bale two waste streams side by side without cross-contamination. Suits vessels, hotels, and sites that sort at source. |
| ToronBale™ MW | 5 tons | Marine unit with a stainless inner box and enclosed frame for salt-air service. Under 2 m tall for low deckheads. |
| ToronBale™ M | 5, 10, 20 tons | Three compact sizes for small premises, with an optional liquid tray for damp waste. Fits a 900 mm footprint. |
| ToronBale™ DB | 15 tons | Briquettes baghouse dust into 90 or 140 mm cylinders, replacing manual bagging of loose fines. |
| ToronBale™ CB | 30, 50 tons | Cross-cylinder design keeps overall height at 2,225 mm for premises with low ceilings. |
| ToronBale™ VP | 30, 50 tons | Wide auto-lift feed door sized for bulky stretch wrap, shrink hood, and LDPE film. |
| ToronBale™ PC | 30, 40, 50, 60 tons | Feed openings to 1,800 mm take uncut cartons and press sheets. Bales to 700 kg for mill supply. |
| ToronBale™ AP | 30, 40, 50, 80 tons | Four sizes for aluminum cans and PET bottles, with an anti-rebound chamber built for hollow containers. |
| ToronBale™ TXT | 30, 50, 120, 150 tons | Hydraulic lifting chamber exposes all four faces for cross-tying and bagging used clothing and wool. |
| ToronBale™ VT | 120 tons | Split platens and retractable claws hold car, truck, and bus tires against rebound. Bales to 1.9 tonnes. |
| ToronBale™ Al | 120, 150 tons | Openings to 1,500 mm accept uncut extrusion lengths and assembled window frames. |
| ToronBale™ HV | 150, 200 tons | Dual-rated output for coir and palm fiber or thin iron sheet, with front and rear doors for strapping. |
| ToronBale™ VRP | 150, 200 tons | Force enough to buckle car bumpers and HDPE pallets, with right-angle doors for cross-strapping. |
How to Choose the Right Baler
- For cardboard where ceiling height is limited: choose the CB, whose cross-cylinder layout stays under 2,225 mm.
- For high-volume paper and OCC: choose the PC for its wide feed opening and mill-size bales.
- For stretch wrap and soft film: choose the VP, sized for bulky loose film rather than flat board.
- For beverage containers: choose the AP, built for the spring-back that cans and PET bottles produce.
- For used clothing, wool, or cotton: choose the TXT, whose lifting chamber allows cross-tying and bagging.
- For aluminum profiles and frames: choose the Al, tuned to the lower force aluminum needs.
- For thin steel sheet or natural fiber: choose the HV, which publishes separate bale weights per material.
- For bumpers, pallets, and crates: choose the VRP, which fractures rigid plastic rather than compressing it.
- For scrap tires: choose the VT, the only model with retainer claws and hydraulic oil cooling.
- For low daily volume or limited power: choose the M, drawing 1.5, 2.2, or 3 kW in a 900 mm footprint.
- For two separated streams in one footprint: choose the Dual.
- For vessels and offshore installations: choose the MW, built for corrosion and low deckheads.
- For dust collector discharge: choose the DB, which briquettes fines instead of bagging them.
