Surgical Microscopes – ToronSMTM™ Series

Surgical Microscopes in the ToronSMTM™ Series are designed for operating rooms that need clear visualization, stable positioning, and fast adjustments during delicate procedures. The series supports consistent illumination and controlled movement for long cases, with options for video capture and monitor-based viewing to improve documentation and team visibility.

ToronSMTM™ Surgical Microscopes are optical systems that magnify fine anatomical detail under bright coaxial lighting. Motorized zoom and smooth focusing help maintain workflow when switching between overview and high-detail views. Stand and arm geometry is built to hold position with controlled movement for ergonomic setup. Optional imaging and autofocus support documentation needs when required.

Two families under ToronSMTM™ Series

  1. ToronSMTM™ 1000 Series focuses on compact, high-output LED illumination with a variable working distance objective, supporting routine and advanced microsurgical work.
  2. ToronSMTM™ 1500 Series is built around dual xenon illumination, electromagnetic locking, dual touchscreen control, and imaging-focused workflow for OR environments that need repeatable positioning and team viewing.

Applications

  • Neurosurgery: Supports deep-field visibility and stable positioning during fine-structure work. Motorized zoom and focusing help manage frequent depth changes.
  • ENT and otologic procedures: Helps maintain target visibility in confined spaces with controlled positioning and optional contrast support via filters and small-spot illumination.
  • Spine and orthopedic microsurgery: Repeatable microscope holding and working distance adjustment support workflow consistency when the field shifts across levels.
  • Brain surgery: Continuous zoom supports smooth transitions from wider views to detailed steps while maintaining posture and image consistency.
  • Dental and microsurgery: Variable-angle viewing supports ergonomic posture during longer procedures. Optional imaging supports documentation needs.
  • Ophthalmic and plastic/reconstructive work: Consistent illumination and high-clarity optics help manage fine tissue planes and reflective surfaces.
