Friability Tester ToronFRI™ 2L is a compact and precise device designed for tablet durability testing, compliant with USP, Ph. Eur, and IP standards. It features dual drums, a wide timer range (1 second to 9 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds), and supports up to 9,999 revolutions. With a 24x2 character LCD, automatic sample discharge, and memory retention for protocols, it ensures seamless operation. Its ergonomic design includes front-loading drums, secure engagement, and automatic positioning for efficient testing. Powered by 230V or 110V, it’s ideal for rigorous quality control in tablet manufacturing.

Drums & Types

The Friability Tester is compatible with two drum types:

  1. USP Standard Drum
  2. Abrasion Drum (designed for more detailed testing of tablet and coating durability)

Snap-Lock Mechanism

  1. A TM Snap-Lock knob securely holds single or double drums in place.
  2. Ensures ergonomic handling and reliable operation.
