Breathing Machine Simulated Wearing Treatment Tester ToronFM™ BMSWTT simulates the wearing pretreatment process before conducting respiratory resistance or filtration material penetrability tests on breathing machines.
The breathing machine is activated, the saturator turned on, and the system allowed to stabilize. The particle-filtering half mask being tested is mounted on a dummy head. Over the test period, the mask is removed and reattached every 20 minutes, totaling ten fittings during the test.
Standard
- EN 149 Section 8.3.1 – Specifies the total inward leakage (TIL) test method for filtering half masks to measure how much airborne particles leak into the mask during simulated human movement and breathing.
- This machine includes a breathing simulator, dummy head, saturator, temperature controller, flowmeter, and more. It allows for adjustment to 25 cycles per minute at 2.0 liters per stroke. The air can be saturated at a temperature of (37 ± 2)°C at the dummy head's mouth.
