Salt Content of Crude Oil Tester TT-3230 complies with the standard ASTM D3230 Standard Test Method for Salts in Crude Oil (Electrometric Method) and is designed for determining the approximate chloride (salts) concentration in crude oil. 

Salt Content of Crude Oil Tester TT-3230 covers a concentration range from 0 to 500 mg/kg or 0 to 150 lb/1000 bbl as chloride concentration per volume of crude oil. This device is capable of measuring the salt content to detect the total halide value, ranging from 0.002% to 0.02% (by weight) in crude oil, reduced oil, cracking oil residue, and fuel oil. Additionally, it is suitable for assessing the seawater pollution status of used steam turbine oil and bunker fuel oil.

The primary application of the Salt Content of Crude Oil Tester TT-3230 is to determine the concentration of salts (chlorides) in crude oil and other petroleum products, in compliance with the ASTM D3230 standard.
