Theory and Method of Operation

ToronWB™ EH operates on the principle of indirect liquid-medium heating. The stainless steel inner chamber is filled with distilled or deionized water, which serves as the heat transfer medium. An immersion-type electric heating element warms the water uniformly, and the high-precision thermistor or RTD sensor continuously monitors bath temperature, feeding real-time data back to the integrated circuit control system.

The control system uses proportional or on/off regulation logic to modulate heater output, maintaining the set point temperature within ±1 °C across the full operating range of RT+5 °C to 100 °C. Temperature is set via the front-panel control interface and displayed digitally with 1 °C resolution. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel chamber walls and lid rings minimize heat loss to the environment and promote even temperature distribution across all opening positions — ensuring that each flask, tube, or vessel in the water bath receives consistent thermal conditioning regardless of its position.

The built-in self-diagnostic routine monitors the operational state of critical electronic components at startup and during operation, alerting the user to potential faults before they can compromise experimental results.
