Izod / Charpy Impact Tester – ToronPI™-Series
Izod/Charpy Impact Tester – ToronPI™-Series evaluates the impact resistance of polymer materials by determining the absorbed impact energy using energy conversion principles. The accuracy of the impact hammer plays a crucial role in controlling speed and mass positioning during impact, directly affecting test precision.
The ToronPI-Series features a pointer to record the impact angle, while dedicated software assists users by calculating and adjusting test results. The most commonly used test methods are Izod and Charpy. This machine allows for quick hammer and vise changes to accommodate various test methods and standards (ASTM & ISO).
Positioning Mechanism

The triangular positioning block ensures precise specimen placement.

The positioning vise ensures precise centering of the impact point on the samples.

The positioning pin ensures accurate placement of the sample at the impact center.
