Manual Tensile Specimen Gauge Marking Machine ToronMark™-M400
Parent Product
Manual Tensile Specimen Gauge Marking Machine ToronMark™-M400 is designed and built to meet the tensile testing standards of metallic materials. Engineered for precision and efficiency, it offers a user-friendly experience and reliable performance. This device is an essential tool for laboratory testing.
Working Principle
It rotates 360 degrees via a shaft with spiral bands, allowing the punch to move up and down at various angles. With the impact of an elastic spring, each full turn of the handle marks a straight line on the specimen. The spacing is 10 mm per mark, creating a total of 40 points over a 400 mm length.
Methods of operation
- Place the machine on a worktable approximately 500 mm above the ground. Position the specimen in the V-slot, ensuring it is correctly aligned.
- Use your left hand to press down on the upper bending handle while securing the specimen. With your right hand, rotate the handle in a full circle to mark the points.
- Lift the bending handle upward, then remove the specimen to complete the marking process.
- To accommodate different specimen diameters, adjust the bottom nut on both columns to maintain a safe distance between the punch cutting edge and the specimen.
- Keep the two pillars and punch components well-lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
- Handle the instrument carefully to prevent impacts that could affect the cutting-edge precision. Avoid bumping the pointed punch tip.
