The machine includes four functions and can directly display Bulk Density, Wet Density, Porosity, Absorption, Apparent Density, Open Pores, Closed Porosity, and Total Porosity.

Principle

In compliance with ASTM standards C20, C134, C373, C329, D4254, D854, GB/T standards 1966, 1933, 2413, 2834, and AASHTO standards T166 and T0705, the Archimedes principle buoyancy method, optional boiling water method, sealing wax method, and vacuum saturation method can accurately and quickly display results for bulk density, porosity, and water absorption.

Mode

1. BULK : Adopting the water saturation method for a porous material. 

2. BK+ : Adopting water saturation method for porous absorbent material. With five groups of memory functions. 

3. WAX : A wax sealing method for porous absorbent material. 

4. DS : Nonabsorbent material.

  • The infrared temperature sensor can automatically detect water temperature and perform water temperature compensation.
  • Features automatic temperature compensation, manual temperature compensation, and solution compensation functions.
  • In absorbent product density measurement mode, it directly reads body density, apparent porosity, wet density, and volume.
  • Built-in memory can store five groups of measurements simultaneously in absorbent product density measurement mode.
  • The density of the absorbent product can be directly read using the sealing wax method.
  • The sealing wax method enables direct reading of absorbent product density. Additionally, it displays the value of new material development research, incorporating HI and LO limit functions along with a buzzer to determine if the test object's specific gravity meets the criteria in non-absorbent product density measurement mode. It also includes a function for two groups mixing ratio.
