It is used to determine the pour point and cloud point of petroleum products.
The primary application of the Metal Bath Pour and Cloud Point Tester TT-97J is to determine the low-temperature characteristics of petroleum products, in compliance with ASTM D97 (Pour Point) and ASTM D2500 (Cloud Point). The instrument measures:
- Cloud Point: The temperature at which wax crystals first become visible as a fuel cools.
