LPG Copper Strip Corrosion

Parent Product

LPG Copper Strip Corrosion TT-1838

LPG Copper Strip Corrosion TT-1838 tester adheres to ASTM D1838, the Standard Test Method for Copper Strip Corrosion by Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gases.

Copper corrosion limits ensure that copper and copper-alloy fittings and connections, commonly utilized in various types of equipment for utilization, storage, and transportation, do not deteriorate. This apparatus is designed to detect the presence of components in liquefied petroleum gases that may cause corrosion to copper.

The primary application of this tester is to detect the presence of components within Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gases that are corrosive to copper.

This is done to:

  • Ensure that the LP gas meets quality standards as defined by the ASTM D1838 test method.
  • Prevent the deterioration of copper and copper-alloy fittings and connections that are used in equipment for storing, transporting, and utilizing LP gases.

  • Utilizing a digital display temperature controller for highly accurate temperature control.
  • The apparatus includes two pairs of experimental bombs, enhancing experimental efficiency.
  • Equipped with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel bath.
  • The appearance is designed with decency and beauty in mind.
