C-Ring Toughness Tester is designed for evaluating the toughness of notched modified polyvinyl chloride (PVC-M) water supply pipes. It is an essential testing instrument for research institutes, quality control departments, and pipe manufacturers.

The device includes a test bracket, weights, and a support fixture. A controlled load is applied to the pipe specimen until it fractures within a few minutes. The fractured surface is then examined to identify signs of brittle failure.  

Notching Device for C-ring Test

This device is specifically designed to cut notched PVC-M pipes for determining C-ring toughness.

It is composed of three main sections: the cutting unit, the support unit, and the depth adjustment unit. The cutting tool gradually removes layers from the inner wall of the pipe specimen, while the adjustment unit ensures the notch size is precisely controlled to meet technical requirements.

Features

The specimen holder has an open, split-type design that is easy to install and operate. It can accommodate pipe specimens up to a maximum diameter of φ450.

Equipped with a specialized pipe-cutting tool that meets standard angle requirements. The 45° spiral head adjustment ensures precise incision depth.
