Asphalt Content Tester - Ignition Oven

Asphalt Content Tester - Ignition Oven ToronACT™ T308 is a microcontroller-based system designed for fast and accurate asphalt content analysis using the electric ignition oven method. This cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution ensures precise results while streamlining the testing process.

The ToronACT™ T308 features an internal electronic balance that continuously monitors sample weight throughout combustion, improving efficiency and saving valuable time. The system consists of three key components:

  1. A high-performance electric combustion furnace
  2. An advanced electronic balance for precise weight measurement
  3. A test control and data processing unit with a built-in microcontroller

All data is displayed in real-time on the touchscreen controller. The unit includes a fume assembly chamber above the furnace, where emissions mix with air before being efficiently vented through the flue by an integrated fan.

Standards

  1. ASTM D6307-98
  2. AASHTO T308-99

  • Provides accurate endpoint detection based on the pre-set calibration factor.
  • Features a redesigned furnace structure for rapid heating and shorter test times.
  • Modern, streamlined design with precise alignment of the furnace and balance, ensuring the sample is perfectly centered.
  • Supports testing of various asphalt mixtures, following ASTM D6307-98 and AASHTO T308-99 standards. A calibration sample is used to establish the system’s accuracy, ensuring reliable test results.
