Gas Pressure Calibrator

Gas Pressure Calibrator — ToronFT™ GP-C

ToronFT™ GP-C Gas Pressure Calibrator is a precision pneumatic pressure source and calibration instrument designed to generate, regulate, and apply stable high-pressure gas across a wide range (from −0.1 MPa (vacuum) to 10 MPa) using air as the pressure medium. Constructed from imported stainless steel connecting pipes and quick connectors, the ToronFT™ GP-HP features an open overall structure that is easy to operate and maintain, and minimizes the risk of leakage.

The lever-type mechanism of the high pressure gas pressure tester provides fine, precise pressure generation capability across the full range, including the ability to generate negative pressure (vacuum). Equipped with sufficiently long connecting hoses and transition joints, and featuring a back-intake, directly exhausting valve located at the meter being inspected, the ToronFT™ GP-HP prevents pollutants from entering and contaminating the pump body — ensuring clean, reliable gas pressure generation for the life of the instrument.

Theory and Method

The ToronFT™ GP-C uses a lever-actuated pump mechanism to compress air within its stainless steel hydraulic circuit, generating stable, controllable gauge pressures from −0.1 MPa (vacuum) to 10 MPa. The lever design provides the mechanical advantage needed to achieve high pressures with low operator effort, while the small resolution of the mechanism allows fine, incremental pressure adjustment for precise calibration work.

The back-intake, directly exhausting valve is positioned at the pressure outlet — at the location of the meter being inspected — ensuring that exhaust gases exit directly at the measurement point rather than recirculating through the pump body. This arrangement keeps the pump internals free from process contaminants, extending pump service life. The long connecting hoses and transition joints allow flexible routing between the pressure source and the instrument under calibration, accommodating a wide range of installation configurations without introducing bending stresses at the connection interfaces.
