Torontech's Desk Sputter Coaters are able to coat noble metals, such as Gold (Au), Silver (Ag), Palladium (Pa) and Platinum (Pt) thin films on non-conductive or poorly conductive specimens uniformly and fine-grain size in the fast cycle time. The good design of the system enables the user to easily load and unload samples and quickly change the target.
Our product offerings include:
Desk Sputter Coater: The Desk Magnetron Sputter Coater (DSR1) is a high productivity tool that delivers consistent and highly repeatable results in the fully automated system. It’s ergonomic design and small footprint of the DSR1 SEM coating system allows easy use of the system.
TT-DSR1, the modular of SEM sample preparation system, configured as a sputter coater and carbon coater (thread) with interchangeable heads in one instrument. It is a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) sample preparation system equipped with a rotary pump to achieve vacuum less than 50mTorr which is a suitable vacuum range for noble metals sputter coating and evaporation coating. Desk Carbon Coater: Desk Carbon Coater DCR is a compact carbon fiber coating system suitable for sample preparation for the use in scanning electron microscope (SEM), Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-Ray analysis (EDX).
This device is available in two formats:
1. DCR is a rotary-pumped carbon coater that is suitable for SEM sample preparation, EDS/WDS and thin film applications.
2. DCT is a turbo-pumped carbon coater that is ideal for FE-SEM, EDS/WDS, TEM, EBSD and thin film applications. This high vacuum coater offers high quality uniform carbon films with fine grain sizes which are suitable for specimens that require high resolution and high quality characterization. Learn more
Triple Magnetron Target Desk Sputter Coater: The DST3 is a desk top, triple target, turbo molecular vacuum pumped sputter coater, suitable for sputtering semiconductors, dielectrics, metals and metal oxides. An evaporation source for thermal evaporation source can also be mounted on device for thermal evaporation process. The DST3 is equipped with a large chamber and a water circulation cooling system for each cathodes which make it suitable for sputtering; a single large diameter specimen; and co-sputtering; a small diameter specimen. Single Magnetron Target Desk Sputter Coater: The magnetron desk sputter coater model DST1 is a compact coating system with ability to coat semiconductors, dielectrics and metals (oxidizing and non-oxidizing). Uniform thin films with fine-grain sizes are formed in a fast cycle time.
The DST1 is equipped with a magnetron cathode with diameter of the cathode could be 2-4 inches depending on the requirement. Learn more
Pulsed Laser Deposition and Thermal Evaporator System: PLD - T is a high vacuum thin film deposition system enables to deposit different materials by both Pulsed Laser Deposition and thermal evaporation technique. It can deposit complex materials and crystalline structures onto substrates with very little setup involved
Pulsed Laser Deposition technique leads to efficient, none-thermal ablation and preserves the stoichiometry of the target materials. By applying this method it could deposit materials such as nitrides, oxides, super lattices, polymers, composites. Learn more
Desk Sputter Coater: Desk Sputter Coater DST2-T High Vacuum, Dual Target, Versatile Desktop Coater for Thermal Evaporation and Sputtering. The DST2-T is a dual-target, turbo molecular-pumped, multi vacuum coater system, combines thermal evaporator and sputter coater in one single compact desktop system. It is suitable for deposition of a wide range of materials. The system can easily switch between evaporation and sputtering conditions. Learn more
